Who cared if no one else understood the complicated look in her eyes as she stared back? Who cared? In the end, he'd do anything for her, she'd do anything for him, and when they bound their lives together, both of them were better off.
"I love you," he murmured in her ear sometimes.
She shook her head and kissed him to shut him up.
