Take the Lead (2006)
Date: 2015-09-18 02:59 pm (UTC)I love the students and their interactions. Ramos is probably my favorite character, and I like the meat in the LaRhette/Rock relationship. I'd love something that digs in a little deeper than the movie, which sort of ensemble skimmed. I'd love to see their real lives around dancing, see them dancing, see their relationships when the adults aren't involved, and I'd especially love postcanon fic that shows how Dulaine's program actually made a difference in where they end up.
The Whole Shebang:
Caitlin/Monster: They are so sweet and shy and lovely together and I would love to see a deeper look into their relationship and personalities and choices, especially post-canon but in between scenes is fine too.
Danjou/Ramos/Sasha: My first OT3 ever. I like the three of them together, the sparks (both kinds) that fly when they're 'working together.' I'd love futurefic or fluff fic or relationship fic or learning how to dance as a threesome or even backstory, but I'd really like to see them being in a relationship and how those dynamics balance out in a healthy way, so no one's dominating too much. You know, just living together and making it work.
Danjou/Sasha: I like them and like the way their personalities fit and don't, and I find it intriguing that when she danced with Ramos in the hallway at school, she danced with Danjou in the bedroom. It'd be interesting to see more of their perspectives on things.
Ramos/Sasha: I love the fire of these two and their break dancing and their skill and brazen in-your-faceness. I loved their dancing in the hall together and their fighting and how they worked when they weren't fighting. I'd love domestic fluff or futurefic or angry sex or dancing or anything else you want to throw in here.
LaRhette/Rock: I just like these two and getting over their prejudices and hurts and being there for each other. They're both sensitive in a way, and she takes care of her family, and I'd love to see more of them being supportive of each other or becoming more involved in each other's lives or backstory/precanon.
Morgan/Ramos: Don't ask me why I'm drawn to the idea of this pairing but I am. They're both skilled dancers and hot and arrogant in their own ways and I could see them working together with Dulaine and a rivals to lovers type situation emerging. Open to any way you'd want to write this though, whether it's established relationship, slow build, hate sex PWP, or anything else.
Awake (TV)

ANYTHING. No bashing or tragic ending please.
The Whole Shebang:
Hannah Britten & Emma: I liked the baby storlyine and the relationship the two women started to build. I'd love to see more. I wanted to know more about Emma and her baby and watch her get closer to Hannah. I loved to see their dynamic as family/not family, their different personalities clash or actually help each other, and I'd adore domestic family fluff, preferably with Michael out of jail, but it's okay if he still is if that's not up front and center.
Michael Britten & Effrem Vega: I wanted to see them get Michael out of jail, perhaps by exonerating him via forensics on the gun that killed Bird. I was starting to really like Effrem, who seemed to believe in Michael. Could he go on his own mission to clear Michael's name?
Michael Britten & Isaiah "Bird" Freeman: Green Timeline - Bird knows now, and I would love to see how that affects his and Michael's partnership and friendship on an emotional level or professional level or both. I love their working and personal relationship, and I'd love to see more of that and how them being in on it together affects that and their cases.
Michael Britten & Tricia Harper: Tricia was so incredibly conflicted about all of this. She didn't want things to go the way they did and cried when she finally gave permission for that awful endgame. Then she showed up to be there for Michael even though it was so much partly her fault he was in there. She promised to be there for Hannah. I cannot tell you how much I want more about her. I'd love something exploring her friendship with Michael and Hannah, her happiness about his grandkid conflicting with her own fear and guilt, any ways she tried to stop things from spiralling as badly as they did, ways she tried to protect him, and most of all, I'd adore a story about the brownie-stealing incident when she and Michael met.
Michael Britten/Hannah Britten: I love everything about their relationship. It's real, it's complex, and it's painful, but it's love, and I love established relationships. I'd love backstory from the fun stuff like their meeting and the swimming pool or futurefic (with Michael out of jail) or in between being married fic. I'm okay with white timeline if it's not too surreal please.
Rex Britten/Emma: I'd also love some Rex/Emma interaction/character stuff. These two are cute together and creating a new family unit with Michael in the green timeline as she becomes more a part of their lives. I'd love to see more of them getting to know each other and like each other and becoming family.
Jane the Virgin (TV)
Date: 2015-09-21 11:01 am (UTC)I like Rafael. Not with Jane. I actually like him and Petra with the exception of the episode with Jane pulling out her mean girl imitation so excellently. I love Michael/Jane, not gonna lie, and I adore the bromance of Michael and Rogelio and their respective goofiness working so well together. I want Xo and Rogelio to work out so badly, I cannot tell you.
The Whole Shebang:
Michael Cordero Jr./Jane Villanueva: I ship it. I ship it something terrible. I love their meeting and the good times and the fact that he cares about and respects her and respects her feelings and opinions even when they don't make sense. I kind of hate how dismissive Rafael is sometimes, wanting to make her negative feelings and concerns just go away while Michael usually tries to figure out how to genuinely help/reassure her. :le sigh: There are problems. He keeps secrets and he sucks at apologies, but I'd love to see more of their relationship working well, either futurefic or backstory. Please?
Petra Solano/Rafael Solano: I actually like them. They foil each other neatly and work well together when they work together and she needs to get a better guy and learning not to manipulate, well, not likely, but I like them together. I'd love to see them at a healthy point in their relationship or more about Petra's genuinely falling in love with him.
Rogelio de la Vega & Michael Cordero Jr.: Oh, the adorable bromance. These two are so cute and fun and funny together and I'd just love to see more of their friendship and interacting on the fluffier side and hanging out rather than angstier deep stuff. Advice on each other's significant others, hangout times, guy time Rogelio style... anything. They are so fun.
Rogelio de la Vega/Xiomara "Xo" Villanueva: Adorable them. I love them at this point, and I'm glad he finally told the truth about why she kept Jane away from him and I'd love to see them working out their relationship in the future or in between the scenes. Any of my general likes apply.
The Fey - Kristine Rusch 1/2
Date: 2015-09-21 11:57 am (UTC)This series is full of awesome characters who aren't always on the same side when you're rooting for both and it's bloodier than I usually like (yes, I skim the gore; please omit the gore from fic, please), but the WORLDBUILDING. I want all the backstory, all the character dynamics of growing up years we skipped, all the magic systems and how this actually works (coy, Powers, you, to say nothing of the Roca), and living on-screen history of the previous age with the Roca and his best friend and maybe their kids and betrayal okay if you write that fic, and why hasn't anyone walked through a place of power to the third instead of hunting elsewhere for it? It makes no sense to tempt with that and not follow up. :huffs: So basically, anything and more?
The Whole Shebang:
Adrian & Coulter & Scavenger: I adore found family, and this little unit has a lot of interesting dynamics in the way they were on the periphery of Fey life and I'd love to see more of the times between books and behind the scenes that we didn't get to see. Any of the general likes apply. I would also love Scavenger teaching Coulter stuff as he grows up.
Arianna & Gift & Sebastian: Family. I love family, and these siblings have a rough start between Arianna and Gift but they grow so close as they get older. I'd love anything from any time precanon, during canon, or postcanon. I love domestic or showing them relating through their Links or loyalty and caring for each other or hurt/comfort after Arianna's ordeal with Rugad taking over or anything.
Arianna & Jewel & Solanda: I would adore an AU where Jewel lived and you get to see the two women who don't quite get along interact in caretaking/parenting Arianna. Yes, I know the whole Arianna and Jewel couldn't have both lived, but what if. Considering the characters, it would be hard to pull a canon-compliant with the three (all three are not alive at the same time even after Jewel appears as a Mystery), but if you want to go that route and can figure it out, I'd love anything with the dynamics of these three.
Arianna & Solanda: I'd love to see more of the growing up years. I love both of these characters, for all of their less lovable flaws. For all intents and purposes, they're mother and daughter, and I'd love to see more of their relationship, the healthy loving side vs. the secret keeping one.
Arianna/Coulter: I ADORE this pairing from beginning to angsty keep away inferiority complex to sharing minds to Arianna's going to marry the guy and he'll technically be king of Blue Isle. I want anything, in between the scenes, postcanon, honeymoon (PWP is really just fine), when she was in his head, really anything at all. I especially love feelsy relationship stuff, but I'm wide open here.
Burden/Jewel: This was definitely a might have been with a lot of one-sided pining, but I love the implications of relationship when they arrived, pre-relationship as it were. Could I see more of that? Their camaraderie, their history, the relationship that made them close and reliant on each other, even if they never did get together.
Coulter & Gift: This platonic soulmate, brother/best friend relationship fascinates me, especially because the love there is real, even when they're angry and unforgiving with each other. I'd love to see more of any point in canon except the angry, unforgiving part and more of their closeness. Any kind of chosen brothers fic or friendship fic or plotty whatever that pleases you. Character and relationship studies are my jam, so really anything.

Date: 2015-09-21 02:00 pm (UTC)Coulter | The Roca & The Roca's former closest friend: There's a lot of implied and stated history and it's achingly in between the lines. I'd love to see what happened between them and considering how those weapons work and the whole legendarium around the soldiers of the enemy, what exactly happened with the magic they used to save the Isle (from others with magic), then Coulter turning on his friend. Or naming their kids after each other. Or friendship fic. Or family fic. Betrayal okay for this fandom. Deathfic too considering they became Mysteries and Powers not really dead. Post-Absorption Roca definitely interests me. That silly letter line makes me so curious. Where is Coulter now? The Powers said interesting things and I wonder if his friend went to see him after he was let out of the doll. I really want more of any time frame of the canon, pre, during, or post, but please no complete death of even the soul fic.
Gift/Skya: This is a woman that won't be tamed, but Gift and his kid are important to everything. I'm kind of fascinated by their dynamic and the fact that despite physical attraction, they both seemed to resent each other initially in the emotional/personal interactions sense. I'd love to see into their heads a little, see that dynamic go healthy (or behind the scenes of why they did it anyway if it's not), or see into their heads a bit when they disagree about what to do about the baby and the fact that it's black blood and/or futurefic and really, I just want to know more.
Jewel/Nicholas: I love them. The best part of their relationship and the best years, we barely got to see. I'd love to see honeymoon, marriage, or after discovering she's a Mystery fic. Anything where they're interacting and planning and/or being domestic and married.
Marly/Matthias: I like Matthias best when he's with Marly. I'd love to see some of the missing scenes or the fade to black stuff or them being married and raising their kids and some of the stuff in the years hidden between books. I love Marly's practicality and Matthias when he isn't being bigoted as all get out. Please no fic focusing on insanity.
Matthias (Matthias' Son) & Alexander (Matthias' Son): More brothers. I'd love growing up fic where I can see more of their friendship and taking care of each other and covering for each other and being close rather than any future betrayal fic. I love their initially shown personalities and the way their care really does show through. I'd love to see more of that.
