Congrats, everybody who is working and making progress and writing and creating beautiful things I should be commenting on. I'm reading some (not much) and commenting little (less) because right now, my schedule is more jammed packed then you would believe.

I'll still be posting because I've got lots to do and I do a lot of it here and on my other websites, but even that may slow (or increase, who knows?).

If you want to see my current stats for submitting my writing, it will be on Liana Mir on the sidebar.

If you want to read what I'm scribbling, the only comprehensive updating location will be [livejournal.com profile] 15_minute_draft, though stuff may show up here, at Liana, on my ff.net profile, or in comments (or nowhere else maybe).

Sorry, but hugs to you all! You are awesome!

I'll see you all in December!

I've been excited to see all the Nano folks on my f-list. Love you all. Well wishes. Hoping not to lurk so badly after this meeting is over. (It's tonight and we're hitting production on a movie. A movie!) No promises. I also don't want so much pressure on myself, so...

Track all exact word counts of newly written material. Throw up all as scribbles on this journal. Exclude meta. See what happens.

All will be untimed scribbles. There will be no discrimination provided to fandom or original work or pen name.

And I've got a new one! Pearl Wise. Story on sub. Think good thoughts.

Here goes!

I've just got back today from a week in Texas and I have huge catch-ups and goals for this month, including:

  • Ordering new insurance ID card and getting updated info to the people billing me for hospital charges that are covered by my insurance.

  • Running the entry scripts at work.

  • Calling up my credit card company. :grimaces:

  • Unpacking and cleaning everything.

  • Responding to reviews.

  • Reviewing all the chapters updated since I last reviewed.

  • Finishing beta of new chapter in Like a Bat Out of Hell.

  • Doing beta for chapter 4 of Scorch.

Etcetera, etcetera, etcetera...

I'll be mostly out of pocket while catching up. Reviews, review replies, etc. will just have to wait. Focus will be more on writing (esp. original fiction) and revising.

See you...uh...soon.

So...

I'm flying down to San Antonio with my aunt and sister in the last week of October to go to a film academy and festival. Needless to say, I'm thoroughly excited. Also: it seriously cuts into my weekend time preparing for it.

My computer at work has decided that it doesn't like the Flash on fanfiction.net. Needless to say, this means writing and posting on fanfiction.net is now limited to when I'm at home. Also: I never did much in the evenings anyway.

In short, not a productive, pretty picture. I try to keep updating my personal website: http://whispersandstories.weebly.com, even if I can't crosspost properly. I can make some time for drabbles 'cause they're quick (even though I do put a lot of thought into them). I'm still reading like crazy, but I can only give reviews in the evening or on the weekends.

I hope it gets better soon, and I'll try to do a good chapter push in November.
